Fuel it is an ethanol sensor so you can see what % you are at. They have Bluetooth kit and read it from an app on your phone. Takes the guessing out, which is dangerous. E varies season to season and station to station. Running too low E on a given map is recipe for disaster...

You are confusing flex fuel maps with OTS E30 maps. The OTS E30 maps are specifically set up to run at E30, no sensor required.
Sounds like just a malfunction with the PDC. Can say for sure it’s nothing to do with notifying that something has struck the car, as that doesn’t exist with PDC.

I had to have the output shaft seal replaced at around 11K miles. Should just be able to look at the pan and see if the trans is leaking. Found mine when glanced at it while doing an oil change. Never had any sounds or anything happen, it doesn’t cause a major leak.
I wouldn’t jump to a bad trans.. Any sound clips?
If you’re really worried ab it, take it to a shop or the dealer, pay the diag fee and have them look it over.
