Im assuming you mean, it does not need as lound as possible right?
AWE/REMUS are both great options for a balanced sound that's aggressive but not obnoxious
CEL delete means it fools the ECU to think you have stock downpipes. If your state does emission testing on vehicles, I recommend against this option. If you get caught with it you will need to pay hefty fines
VM (an independent company that does not offer any intakes or tunes) posted a dyno after each modification on the BMW B58 (not identical to the Supra but very close). The first mod was the intake (they used BMS intake, not that the brand matters), it made an additional 10 whp.

you'll get ~ 10 whp increase with the intake
the EVO sound increase is mild, its certainly more noticeable than stock but won't give you the loud whoosh sound
if that's what you are looking for, get the Injen open-intake
