    In theory yes, but in this case you are not doing a major upgrade. Meaning you are not replacing the stock turbo with a big single turbo for max HP on high RPM. This is a very balance upgrade which shows that you do not get any lag (as mentioned before the area under 3000 RPM should be ignored...

    Why would you even consider the area under 3000 RPM? you are not going to be in that RPM range during any pull

    Yes both can adjust ignition timing. You are partially correct. Meaning what you said is only true after a certain temp set by the ECU, thats why i asked for a log during a pull. You will notice that if temps are in the 90s the ECU will not pull timing. It will do so if temps are in the 130s...

    Yes catless downpipe will make your turbo louder Yes it normal to smell fumes if car is parked and windows are down. If you still smell it with windows up, then you have a leak. A catted downpipe will fix this issue
