If you're in the right lane the vehicle will always drift to the right due to the grade sloping to the right. This is amplified with performance tires.
It is counter-intuitive but toe-in is positive and toe-out is negative so your specs look okay.
A rwd car pushes the front tires. Rolling resistance causes the tires to push back against the suspension. So, rwd vehicles use toe-in settings to offset this movement. More toe-in will reduce...
Another vote to get an alignment. I brought the Supra in for an alignment and swapped out the factory brake pads for carbon ceramic. The bedding process requires 5x aggressive and 5x moderate braking to properly bed-in the pads. Front and rear end felt stable during braking.
You would need make sure the level sensors are reinstalled properly. Some folks have broken the brackets or reinstalled them improperly (backwards), therefore triggering a chassis error. Handle with care and you’re good to go.
Long story short. I purchased Swift Springs which come with one silencer for the fronts. Had them installed by a mechanic who has a ton of experience with M, RS and 911’s. Ride quality is still is OEM but sportier and less body roll - what you would expect from aftermarket springs. However...
I did not bring my Supra to the dealership where I bought it. One walk through the Toyota service bay and it was a “hell-no” for me. I asked the service manager if they had any “ramps for lowered cars” to drive up on to fit the lift arms underneath, and his immediate response was not confidence...
20’s will negatively effect performance so keep that in mind.
I’m lowered on Swift springs.
20 x 9 et20, with 265/30/20. Fronts could use a 3mm spacer to sit flush. 20 x 10.5 et30, with 295/30/20. Rears wheels sit perfectly flush with the fender.
For context, that is +12mm front and +18mm rear...
I appreciate the content and have acquired enough critical thinking to parse the information. Plus it's entertaining to see runs from our fellow Supra owners - win or lose. Both are really capable cars but that C8 driver got spanked.
The factory HPFP "HPD6" from the B58TU engine is pretty good from the factory potentially delivering over 5000 PSI. From the Bimmer forums, some members with Pure Turbos, have dyno'd up to 603whp/702wtq on 93oct. I'm not a tuner specialist so others may chime in with more experience.
You can...
They will work from newer models. Just need spacers. My 20" S5 has the same center bore and bolt pattern as the Supra. Not the same bolt thread though 1.5 vs 1.25. Also Audi's are AWD so it will be hard to find staggered fitment.
Perhaps cart before the horse? When you do take delivery, drive it first and see how you feel about the stock hp. For some Supra owners, its plenty horses. A dp and jb4 is all you need to get you in trouble real fast. The Supras already have high flow intakes and exhaust so any aftermarket...
