When I purchased insurance for the Supra, I was asked by the insurance rep if the vehicle had any modifications. I replied not yet but it will have suspension and aftermarket wheels. It would appear to me that Insurance companies are cracking down on mods. YMMV.
Thread pitch is similar to OEM but I don't know the exact number. I used them for my installation and the guards feel very secure versus the stainless ones included in the kit.
I picked up some #10 x 2" stainless steel with black pan head on Amazon. The slightly longer screw fixed the issue with the spacers being a tad too tall.

This morning spotted downshift blue on QEW to 427N on-ramp. Waived as she blew by me. I know that is a biker thing but do other Supra owners wave at each other?
Let me know if you experience any noises from the suspension after the install. I installed the Swift springs a couple of weeks ago and I'm hearing clunking sounds from the front suspension driving over small bumps. It may be an issue with the bump stops or the top coils hitting each other.
Brand new 5mm motorsports hardware spacers + extended bolts for sale. Good quality forged/milled aluminum spacers. I no longer need them because I went a different route with my wheel setup. $79 CAD. Buyer pays to ship.
I had similar fitment issues. Fronts were good but their R&D department needs to spend more time dialing in the rear fitment.
Stock screws on the rears are #10-16. The package came with #8-32 screw which is a finer thread, so the thinner screw doesnt “bite” into the fender liner hole. You can...
Thought I would start a sightings thread to encourage some more activity on the Canadian forum.
I'll start off. Saw a downshift blue 3.0 on Lakeshore near Ontario place. Since purchasing my Supra 3.0 I've only seen one other Supra so I'm not sure how active this thread will be haha. It's a...
Thanks for the video. Did your installers use Xpel stealth for the front lip spoiler and matte areas? I want to avoid the glossy look from regular Xpel.
I was gonna go with the Eibachs but I still remember the sag from my Audi days. Hopefully, they reengineered the springs to reduce the issue. I wanted to add Swift Spec-R's to the conversation. Coming from BMW myself they are popular with the M enthusiasts. Offers a 1.2" front 1.2" rear drop...
Thanks Josh, I ordered a set based on your recommendations. I think the differentiator with Swift vs the competitors is that the springs offer an even drop 1.2"/1.2", front and rear, that's slightly more aggressive than H&R (0.8"/0.8") but not as aggressive as Eibach (1.7"/1.2"). I'll post pics...
