Has anyone elected to paint their own engine cover as a diy? The oem finish is too rough and grabs hold the microfiber when trying to wipe it off. I was hoping to spray it with a quality rattle can (rustoleum for plastic - all in one or VHT) in a black satin paint… thus eliminating the rough...

Another must: A large (28x36) microfiber towel made for drying that is amazing… some may find it expensive up front but you can dry the entire car off with this single towel. Very soft and absorbent...

I like the cheap ones for the inside of the wheels, wheel wells, underside, exhaust, muffler, suspension bits, engine area, etc… However, it pays to spend the extra money on a high end quality microfiber towels for the paint. All microfiber towels are not created equal. ?

Save the Supra … just say NO to the underside accessory glow lights. Leave these for the Mustang and Civic ppl.

~ Indeed the cleanest location if you must run a front plate. Throw a black tinted cover on it for even more discrete blending. I know some state have no mercy for those who go without when required.

In Columbus, Ohio I’m lucky to see a single Supra on the road in a month or two. Rare sighting here. Keeps mine extra special.

~ most higher end wheel and tire companies typically stock the black tape weights … however the ones pictured can be found on eBay (many sellers).

Cool car that we probably never thought we’d see in the States. Too boy racer for me at my age but the sales will be through the roof. A nice option for the Civic Type R buyers.

Fyi … They also produce black tape weights for the wheels for the stealth/clean look. I wish the factory would have used these.

~ Use a blow dryer to heat the badge… slide some heavy duty fishing line behind the badge (moving back and forth) to loosen… use an adhesive remover to remove the remnants and polish. I did the same with the Supra and GR badge… perfect the clean look.

~ Yes there’s a notch on the underside of the silver header bar that 3/4” Velcro sits perfectly inside. Then I had the loop side sewn onto the edge of the leather divider cover. A perfect fit.
