~ I did. The oem wheels were sandblasted, powder coated Mercedes Benz silver, then machined the face and clear coated. The inside barrels are perfectly smooth in silver as well. Much easier to care for and provides a cleaner look.

One trick that some ppf installers are using versus touch up paint is Crayola Crayons (obviously silver/gray in your case) filling the void. This elimates the blob of paint on top of the surface (which is enhanced with clear bra). Sounds crazy but works quite well for small chips before a ppf...

Also when I install a clearbra aka ppf… I always retain the vehicle for 3 days… thus allowing me to fully secure the edges so no lifting will take place once returned.

Your best bet is to apply a touch of heat to the lifting area with a heat gun or blow dryer… then try to press it back on place with your finger. If dirt has gotten beneath the film in the lifted edge… I would request the film to be replace.
