~ Tried that suggestion in the past and the hatch then sits higher than the rear quarter panels when closed. Not a good look.

~ Well yeah… we all know that would have only made sense. Damn engineers. Like others mentioned… there’s not even an allocated place to squeeze your fingers between the panels to lift the hatch. Mine will be here tomorrow… stay tuned.

~ And not to mention… when you pop the hatch with the drivers door open… then close the door… the hatch is sucked closed again. Truly an annoy design flaw. I’m hopeful the new hatch supports lifts the hatch automatically once the button is pushed. ?

I felt the same way and was against the bumper removal. Unfortunately the bumper must come off to add the necessary secondary horn. Keep in mind the bumper only comes off and on in one fashion. Simplistic once you do it. Once loose... be certain to unplug the outer parking sensors (clip) before...

Historically Supra 19” take-offs (oem rims and tires - nearly no miles) ... go for $1300-$1500. Hopefully this info is helpful with your posting.

~ As soft as the paint is on these cars... I would have had to pass. A resprayed panel chips up twice as fast as a factory painted panel. Hope you wrapped it in ppf?

Nope. In some cases... the dealer is unaware.

Not always the case but when a car sits a port for an extended period of time… I highly recommend buying a paint gauge (less than $100). Checking all the body panels for possible repaint or repair. The paint gauge won't lie. The first new Supra I was about to purchase off the showroom floor had...
