    ~ There were flat pads on the lift and lined up perfectly with the oem pads (same as bmw). No issues.

    The satin black areas on my car are also covered in xpel matte film. I use a quality quick detailer after each washing the car. I’ve tried many quick detailer sprays over the years and my favorite is Chemical Guys V07 Hybrid Spray. Not all quick detailer are created equal.

    Anyone else obsessed with keeping the inside of their Supra’s rims and red calipers clean with each wash? The dust free brake pads do help. I’m the same way about the wheel wells and muffler/pipes. And yes it’s driven in the rain. ? Therapeutic in some weird way.

    ~ Yes you are correct. Riding on the bump stops is not a good thing and the ride will be rougher without the necessary travel. Trimming the bump stops allows the required strut & shock piston travel for the oem like ride.

    Seems like many of these salvage cars were wrapped. Lots of enthusiast. Be careful out there.

    I’m now at 1,400 miles... just to be on the safe side I opted for an oil change. All looked great. I plan to do so every 5,000 miles. My ā€˜go to’ guy is a mechanic at our local BMW dealer and helped me out. Funny to see a Toyota surround by its next of kin.

    ~ I had my preferred BMW mechanic do the work on the side. He prefers just to take the everything off versus any short cuts. Cost $400. Be certain to trim the bump stops front and rear. I waited about 300 miles before having the car aligned (to settle). I used Tire Discounters for the alignment.

    Pledge. Being in residential Real Estate... we use Pledge often for any sticking or dragging sliding vinyl windows and sliding patio doors. Lubricates well without the greasy mess or residue.

    ~ Wow ... Dave at Burger Tuning was very kind and adjusted the purchase price back to $199 for me with an immediate $40 credit after purchase. Prior glitches have been remedied. That’s customer service and shipped the same day!!! Impressive! ???
