  1. Available Performance Parts for the 2021 2.0L Supra (US Market)

Enri93.....If i may ask, how long have you had your 2.0 Supra and what is your take on it so far? I have a thread in the forum about choosing between the 2.0/3.0 but most, if not all, of the comments were from 3.0 owners. Obviously, bias. Would you buy the 2.0 all over again and although it has...
  2. 2.0 Supra have landed at U.S. dealers

On at least one of the links, there are pics and it is actually, the 2.0 so i would think the person who does their online advertising, was not paying attention. Still, if i seriously look to do a 2.0, i will look in those areas for the best deal as it is not that far of a drive to get one for...
  3. 2.0 Supra have landed at U.S. dealers

Not sure if you checked out the ads completely but this is below the section that has pictures in the description section: Really, 2.0 "6cylinder"????? I am surprised Toyota even shipped Supras to those locations...nothing against IL, but there is NOTHING out there......now i know where to go...
  4. 2.0 Supra have landed at U.S. dealers

I am also "curious" about the 2.0. Daily drive, worth the money, etc..... When you have some miles on it, share some opinions. Looking to purchase in about 6 months. Just about every Toyota dealer in my are (within 100 miles), has at least one 2.0 and most have at least two. a couple dealers are...
  5. 2021 Supra 2.0 as a daily? Rainy Conditions?

.....also looking at the 2.0 as another daily driver.....
  6. 2021 Supra 2.0 as a daily? Rainy Conditions?

I daily drive a RWD and it has been fine. Luckily, the worst weather i have driven in was about 1.5 ins "winter slush' on the road and i switched to "ECO" mode and traction control, reduced speed and the rear end stayed put unless i "prodded" it to step out......could not resist.....had good...
  7. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

WOW!! "The 2.0 has all that i NEED".............that statement says MORE than you think........I won't make up my mind until i get ready to buy but using that statement going forward will make that choice easy, Speaking for myself, a LOT of my decisions in the past, were not founded in "...all...
  8. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

First and foremost, sorry for your loss. i am no "spring chicken", 55 and now that kids are grown, and i am divorced, thought it time to have a little FUN but within "reason" which is why I started this thread. i am pondering the best "money" spent even though i am still considering the 3.0. I...
  9. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

For a car that was built 25+ yrs ago....."raw" is an understatement......lol. The fact is, 25+ yrs later, i still have not found a car that could reproduce that experience. The "sporty" cars today are built better and perform better but if the 2.0 Supra can replicate that experience in a more...
  10. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

Not a big fan of "tuning"......tried that before and it was more hassle than what i got out of it......i did see this review and liked what they had to say.....i like the 86 but would not take it over the 2.0 Supra
  11. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

Great comments: the below links say it all........ heart pounds when i look at these. If the 2.0 Supra comes close, i am sold!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry 3.0 owners... Doug's review is spot on.........Thanks for your " 2 cents worth".....
  12. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

So this may sum it up......i am in the US(good ol KY) but i have no interest in being the "stoplight" king......leave that for others....i commute around 30 miles, one way, to work. My main requirement is: get around that A**hole in the left lane as quick as possible but keeping in mind, the...
  13. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

That is important to me as well.... i make several references to a '93 RX7 that i owned(similar dimensions/power as the 2.0 Supra) and i STILL have not found anything(within a reasonable price-point), that could match that car's "fun to drive" factor... i plan on buying one in about 10 months so...
  14. Chevy C7 Corvette vs Toyota Supra

New to this thread........don't own a vette but have a couple of buddies that do.....one has a C6 Z06......even with that car......"you're on CRACK...." I Like the supra a lot(even thinking of buying one) but i am no dummy to the "laws of physics"........against a C7 Z06, the only tune that...
  15. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

So i take it you have the 2.0? if so, did you get a chance to test drive the 3.0 and what was the "ultimate" factor in your decision? Money, practicality, etc.?
  16. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

you guys are trying to make the decision difficult....... i like the BRZ/FR-S but have never driven one. The basic rep. is "fun" which would give the 2.0 Supra some cred.....i have seen some reviews that basically say if the 2.0 had a manual/LSD, the choice would have no doubt been the 2.0...
  17. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

I can see this.......again, owned mustang(5.0 fox body - fun car as well), camaro, and then, the RX7.....now.... a Stinger which is pretty much a bridge to something better (Supra)....the v6 version in this car gets the same "pub" with owners as does the 3.0 Supra but i didn't care about a V6 at...
  18. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

Doesn't matter a darn bit......i like the idea of being the "silent type".......on some cars, the sound adds to the "aura" but others, particularly on some "custom" exhausts, just makes a bunch of noise....They started up both versions (2.0/3.0) at the dealer(trying to get a rise...) and I...
  19. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

"2021 Toyota Supra 2.0 Dyno Results", So, i am adding a little more "clarity" to consider for this thread.......after checking out this thread, i had some thoughts: the power difference between the 2.0 and 3.0 does not mean anywhere near as much as does the price of the 2.0T. Even if i...
  20. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

Thanks "CarGuy"......the video about sums up the "jist" of this thread.......Got a text today from the Toyota dealer where i went and looked at the Supra...... They offered a lease of $489 for 3yrs. $2900 down for one of the 2.0 models they have in stock. Told the nice lady i was primarily...
