Ok..my dealer who is in the SET network finally replied to me. He said the hold indeed has been lifted and he sees a lot of deliveries for the 28th! I for one am excited!!!

I second this, I believe the production of A91-MT’s are done. Makes the most sense. Now they can change the assembly line to normal supras. Still trying to figure out how many of each special edition color there will be in the US.

Got an update from one of the dealers in the GULF STATES TOYOTA region, he stated the A91-MT shows to have arrived at port today but it shows a distribution hold until 9/23. This confirms at the very least it’s GST and SET that are doing the hold. More than likely however it’s all US Toyota...

Oh get over it people. It’s got nothing to do with common sense, if someone has the ability to pay more for what they want, more power to them. If that makes it harder for the next guy to get what he wants, well then that guy just needs work harder, or find another way. It’s supply and demand...

Received this from my dealer today. Not sure what it all means but I like how it says no work has been performed on the vehicle! So more reasons to think tomorrow it’ll all be lifted!

I think that makes sense. Seems like Toyota just wanted a formal rollout of the Supra. Just one more day!!

I recall someone saying when there is a qc hold on a car it says to check back Fridays after noon. Does that mean the status never changes on any other day? Has anyone gotten an update from their dealer in regards to the qc hold?

Just wanted to let y’all know they have a A91-MT not spoken for at Toyota Tempe, I didn’t ask the color. He said they will sell out of state but you have to come in for the deposit and to pick it up. The mark up is $10k.

Yes bad screen grab. That black hole however is where the HUD system is. Also if you watch the video he actually mentions the HUD and you see it. Regardless the a91-mt has it and that’s what matters to me!
