Will follow-up with results. I'm also interested to see how they do when I replace the stock tires with the set of A052's (stock size) I have sitting in the garage. I'm kind of worried I'll be back to too much body roll, especially on the track, but we'll find out. I'm not competing or anything...
I didn't want to do the full deal racing setup yet and just wanted a small drop. I went with the Eibach euro-spec setup and have been happy. We'll see how happy once race season starts here, but so far my impression has been positive. The rates seem to match well with the stock shocks. Only...
Yeah, that's kind of the reason I was hesitating. In theory it would work, and more than likely would provide some benefit on track, but I think I'd just rather spend the addition $4000 extra and get the intake manifold. ?
I did not! Still sitting in a box in my garage. I had to prioritize getting the seats and harnesses in over the winter, along with a few other minor items. I still plan on installing, it's just not that high of a priority given I will likely either just end up doing an intake manifold or popping...
I agree with this 100%. IMO, the hood's shape is not conducive to flowing body lines when replaced with a black CF version on any paint code... except black. Same thing with the fake side air intake doodads. The only exception to this I feel is a spoiler/wing/etc.
However, you do you people...
When you have the HUD turned off, the information re: media, calls, etc. is displayed in that black space on the right-hand side. It's not completely wasted, just used in specific circumstances for (IMO) less than useful information. Would be nice to have it customizable. Maybe someone will...
Kies, IME, is a steady hand in the industry. I've ordered parts directly from them in the past and parts I've ordered from elsewhere ave been drop-shipped from them. Always arrived on-time and undamaged. No complaints.
Allllllllright. As someone with a Supra as a 2nd (well 3rd) car (that doesn't use it as a daily driver) let me say this: The thing gets more attention than any car I've ever owned. Now granted I've never owned a Ferrari or Lambo, but the car is rare enough at least around here that people...
The Toyota dealership had to straighten this one out for me. The TC (DSC? whatever it's called) module had to be recalibrated after the car was put into then taken out of service mode. I'm lucky to have a good service department where the shop foreman is a Supra certified tech. All of the other...
Good luck on the rest of the install! Let us know how it goes. This was one I was glad to pay someone to do. I like working on the "easy" or programming-related projects myself, but like dropping the rear subframe, there are some jobs that may be expensive but I'm just not willing to take on.
I...
