Why are there so many crashed Supras? Is it that people can’t handle the power? They’re going too fast? Being reckless? It can’t be that hard to drive.

I don’t think Toyota has any control over them once dealers have them. Its not a part, so you can’t buy one. Call the General Manager at your dealership and tell them they need to give you one. You aren’t free advertising for them. If not, you could buy one on eBay or Amazon

I’ve read many articles over the years, and most of them say not to purchase them. It is pure profit for the dealer.

Checked Autotrader and Cars.com in a 500 mile radius from San Diego, and there weren’t any with a red interior, and like 1 2022. Don’t know how often those sites are updated.
