Good to know! A couple of degrees would be enough for me. I won’t run any crazy camber just for HPDE. If I don’t plan on doing more than -2 up front would I benefit from the new LCAs?
I’m a new owner so I can’t speak as far the Supra goes, but I tracked my Camaro SS 1LE a ton at my home track Barber Motorsports Park.
The thing that made a massive difference was getting a “track settings” alignment. It was basically -2 front -1.5 rear camber. My PB at Barber dropped from a...
When I dropped the strut and pulled off the boot and bump stop I was able to separate the bump from the boot. Then I cut the bottom section off then squeezed the next section of the bump stop back into the sleeve. It wasn’t too difficult.
Edit: disregard, I found where someone else asked that question in this thread.
When you guys trimmed the rear bump stop that has the dust boot pressed onto it, what did you do to keep the boot from falling down after you trimmed the last section of the bump stop?
It’s been a policy of mine for a while where I don’t buy cheap shit from Aliexpress, but at $38 I might make an exception. If they’re garbage then it’s not a huge waste.
These are allegedly metal and the size is right.

A panoramic roof option would be cool.
I would be wary of aftermarket targa conversions - I’ve seen shit installs on small sunroofs so I can’t imaging the pain that would come with an aftermarket targa.
Great build! Handling is the thing I want to address when I start working on mine, too. If I could get it to handle as well as my Camaro SS 1LE it would be the perfect combo of size, speed, looks, and handling.
Excited to see how you like your mods on your next track session.
Bronze is my favorite, followed by silver. I’m over black wheels, but looks like I’m in the minority.
I’ll be glad when y’all get more bronze in, too. I bought a set of ARC-8s for my SS 1LE and love the wheels. Need to get some new Apex shoes on my Supra now!
I live in Alabama. If I drive the nice curvy roads in the more affluent parts of the Birmingham area I’ll end running up on some amateur cyclist that’s irate that some loud car suddenly closed in on him and that the driver didn’t see him on a narrow road around a blind corner.
If I drive out to...
MSRP buyer here, too. Well, technically I got it for $1000 less, but then I paid for tint and an extended warranty.
it’s the first time I’ve ever paid MSRP. I can’t shake the feeling I’ve been had. But I’m very happy with the car, so all’s well.
I’m a 3.0 owner and I have no hate for the 2.0 either. I’ve had a blast with lots of 4cyl: 2.3 SVO Mustang, RSX S, Focus RS, Porsche 944.
Was a little confused by you hoping for an N/A V6 instead of an I-6 though…
