The fenders look great! I’m not into that old school metal mesh either, but there are some options out there now that look more OEM. If you search “honeycomb ABS plastic” on Amazon you’ll find a few options. Maybe hit the inside of the vent with plastidip (any overspray is easy to wipe off) then...
I was a little sad when I sold my Camaro SS 1LE, but that was mostly because I grew so much as a driver during the 3 years I owned it. I thrashed it on HPDE weekends and it never missed a beat. So I had an appreciation for that particular car, but not that type of car in general.
I’ve had an...
I like this Z, like a lot. But I definitely like my Supra better. I’ll be happy to roll with one of these in any meetup or HPDE. These are good times!
I don’t drag race in R888R but I have them as my track setup. These tires need heat to stick on the track so I’m guessing they need a decent burnout to get them warm enough at the strip.
This is the 1500 with the I-6 and not the 2500 with the big diesel.
That’s at around 70 mph. If I take it up to 80 then it drops to about 25 and around town I’ll get about 20. I’m really happy with that considering it’s a factory 2” lifted 4x4 that can still pull 9,000lb. I’ve towed my previous...
I think the latest gen of the NSX is an under appreciated car. I love the looks of the original but it didn’t excite me when I got to finally drive one on a curvy road.
Got mine today and slapped them on. I’m happy to report that they work as advertised! The form factor is great and my only complaint is that the color and finish doesn’t match the arm of the side mirror.
There are two jack points on the side so you can pick your own adventure, but I jacked up one side in the front, did it and moved on to the other side before I moved to the rear. The rear springs are ridiculously easy to do.
I have a low profile jack that I bought from Harbor Freight for cheap about 6 years ago that’s served me well. I used the jack point on the side of the car.
The install was pretty easy. I watched two videos and combined their techniques: one from FTSpeed and the other from the Build Room () Make...
Congrats! That drive back is a pain if you’re like me and try to adhere to the break-in procedures. Flew from Alabama to South Carolina for mine and when I was driving it back all I wanted to do was hammer on it. Didn’t break 75 :(
I’m heading back to BMP with Just Track It on 20 and 21 November and was wondering if anyone else was planning to go? I’m the only Supra registered so far but looks like the slots are only about full.
It’ll be my first track weekend in the Supra since I bought it about a month ago. My personal...
