I'm sure I will mostly have similar results. And I mainly run around in map 5 on the streets, map 6 still working with BMS to dial in.
I guess at worst I have a chunky charge pipe and valve cleaning kit installed LOL.
Tuned is a different story tho.
Im fairly certain you can hook the wmi...
I dropped 7k in parts in one day I just want it to be good to go when the ECUs are cracked. For now taking JB4 to the limit.
EDIT:Not bragging I work hard for my money, just excited. Can't wait for these freaking bolt ons!
This is a fun car for me so I don't mind blowing cash at all. Have plenty of it to blow for this car. And yes obviously the JB4 is just an in between stage. The end goal once it's unlockable would be a BEF and use the jb4 for management. I have also emailed and talked with Steve and Terry quite...
I just want to be able to run either or. E85 not consistent where I live. 93 wmi or 93 with E or both for experimental purposes. At the very least I'll keep my valves clean and lower charge Temps. Also BMS has had many customers than run both. Either will certainly add plenty of octane. Are you...
This will be my build journal, all systems focused around JB4 since 21s are mostly locked.
Goal is to keep IATS and charge air cool, and making bigger power using JB4 with 93 with ethanol and methanol combinations.
Meanwhile no CELs are wanted. All parts must not cause CEL
Current parts...
I dont think so,
What is your goal ?
The jb4 works with the Fuel It brand sensor, it can run a 0-5v pin to the db25 in the Jb4 and take the reading from the sensor, but I don't know of any flex fuel systems that are compatible with the JB4. If you just want to measure E content I'd say this is...
JB4 pairs with the fuel it sensor and will give you a reading but it is not a flex fuel kit per se. This is the route I've gone on my 21. Install next week hopefully along with WMI kit. Without the sensor I've just been dumping in 3-4 gallons of e85 and watching my logs and timing etc. This car...
You Cannot purchase the car until it is toyotas inventory. Ask me how I know lol. Once it's in their system you're golden. Literally tried to do the same thing you are with a sienna platinum. Will be picking it up within a week, tried to go pay cash for it early but sadly they won't take my 50k...
I did many pulls with 93 only with similar results, after two logs with roughly e30 things improved greatly. I followed advice from other posts from N54Tech. If the quality of 93 around is poor it doesn't seem to run well on JB4.
Are you running Ethanol?
I noticed my timing greatly improves after adding octane aka E juice. Across all maps timing seems to be greatly improved where as b4 it was pulling a little timing with 93.
Adding flex fuel sensor and WMI within a couple weeks as well for obvious reasons.
Was offered what I paid for my 21 so no surprised on the flips. Personally I'd only sell for a 22, just to have the 22. Otherwise no way. I'm keeping this thing. It's a beast specially tuned
The 6 port sounds A LOT more exotic imo. Wow. Sounds excellent. And not sounding like it's trying to be a V8 either. I hate that. Anyways yeah can't freaking wait
