@Eddy90 my dealer texted me when the date/freight status happened and said "your Supra has went in freight status meaning it'll be off the boat this week and on its way to me!"
Idk how accurate that is though. I assume there's some amount of port/shipping logistics that takes place within that
Honestly you aren't missing much on there. There's way more people in the FB groups which is nice for seeing a varied amount of people's setups/experience, but hardly anyone does any research and it's the same uneducated questions over and over. The other day someone posted asking "how do you...
Since this is a thread dedicated to the MT I'd like to point out that I believe @kingdooksdb is the only forum member who has tried a JB4 with an MT so far and said that he was having issues, even when on a custom map 6 from Jesse. So that may not be a good option until some kinks get worked out.
I mean they bought a single straight piped exhaust, which is the loudest possible configuration other than a downturn. It's labeled as "track" for a reason. RKTi sells a version with a muffler though that is tamer
I reserved/deposited my allocation on November 23rd, and the dealer told me the car had a 12/15 build date. It's been in allocation until Saturday where it switched to freight. The dealer also told me it could've potentially shown up as soon as 10 days from the build date, from checking here on...
Right on. When I visited them last year to check out a phantom grey. The salesman told me that they get the most Supras out of any MI dealer and I wasn't sure if he was just embellishing or not.
Idk I feel like them just giving us a free track day is cool and well above most people's expectations for a manufacturer. Why buy a fast car if you don't want to drive it fast (in a safe/legal environment)? I only track my cars a couple times a year but I'd say they probably get more engine...
Make sure they removed your shipping spacers on your struts under the dust boot. A lot of dealers forgot to take them off peoples cars when they first came out.
My buddy always brings up the story when him and one of our other friends went out to the tail in his modded Mk7 GTI and the other guys Camaro SS. The guy in the golf finished almost 10 minutes before the guy in the Camaro, and when Camaro friend took a ride in the golf he basically started...
The nicest/most Oem looking option I've seen so far is the P3 gauge. I think the OBD2 version can do a bunch of different readouts, and the analog one is a lot cheaper
Sorry for not clarifying, my specs were for a premium MT, my local dealer told me they straight up could not get an a91 when I asked. One thing that was interesting is apparently at the other dealer where my car is showing up, they had a deposit list of 3 people wanting manual premiums, but they...
