Have heard great things about Armytrix, but a word of warning with Vivid. They are known for having absolute crap customer service about half the time. People have received broken parts, delays, etc and gotten ghosted before. With others everything goes great, so just be careful.
It looks... fine. I don't like the exterior nearly as much as the S550. It kind of has these blocky proportions from the side view angles (very similar to a Camaro). It looks a bit more muscle car and a bit less sports car to me this time around.
I actually crossed paths with a 2024 GT the other night on the highway (there's been a few in the Metro Detroit area). He didn't speed up or anything, but I did pass him in the left lane, so I'm calling it a win.
I agree that is a little strange. If I remember correctly they made a point to talk about increased downforce/better aerodynamics in the A91-cf edition (no hard numbers though). Even the reveal video was in a wind tunnel
If it is a 2023 Manual, it can only be unlocked currently. Meaning Bm3 or MHD tuning (I see you mentioned OTS maps, these can still be custom tuned by a tuner for better power and your specific goals). Bm3 just released their CustomROM software that allows for flex fuel and a few other features...
After some laps I turned the traction control back on and although it was intervening at almost every turn, I found it difficult to screw up even if I was trying to push the limits, it really keeps the car pinned down.
I was at a track day last weekend where it rained all day, and by my second session the road was basically a piece of tile covered in grease, cars had been spinning out in every session, it was probably my most terrifying track session ever, but I'm so glad I went out. I feel WAY more confident...
Personally I think you'd be at the upper limits of the PS4S with straight line traction with that, and could definitely overpower them/slide the rear out in a corner if you mashed the gas, but it's still the best all around/no drawbacks performance tire in my opinion (wet, dry, noise, wear...
I was originally going to get my MT from Suburban, but they dropped the ball so hard logistically with my allocation that I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I know a shorter girl who wears Doc Martens or thick soled boots when she drives stick, so that there's an extra 2-3 ish inches to work with over normal shoes. It may be worth looking into because it's a relatively easy solution.
The stock bar is aluminum, and the Cusco bar is steel. Generally steel has a higher yield strength and tensile strength than aluminum. It also has as a Young's modulus that's much higher than aluminum, making it much stiffer.
Obviously this may not directly translate to just popping in the bar...
Potentially... The Cusco bar is definitely stiffer than the thin OEM piece, so under the right load it could in theory stiffen it up a bit, but the Supra already has a very stiff modern chassis and so theres no real reason to "upgrade" the stiffness unless you were doing a cage for an actual...
Do you recommend one flex kit over the other (Visconti or fuel it)? Is the only real difference that one uses Bluetooth to your phone and the other has a display?
The continental's are too new for anyone to really have tried them other than reviewers, but it makes sense that they're better than the ps4s, as they're 240 treadwear tires. I'd say the new ExtremeContact Sport 02's are more comparable to PS4S because they're both about the 300 Treadwear mark...
If anyone on here pulled the trigger on the RK Ti valved street exhaust that just released, if you could sound off with a video once you get it/install it I would be forever grateful.
I have the ebay ones (that look similar to the Verus). Completely eliminated the buffeting with windows down up to about 115, but even then it was just there slightly, not migraine inducing.
Also it might be placebo, but I feel like there's less wind noise with the windows up too. Would highly...
