I go to track to have fun - not necessarily have a best lap time - with other drivers who loves driving their car.

You forgot to list your panache for sightseeing during laps.

Anyone that tracks in the NE and states Palmer isn't challenging is indeed just sightseeing.

I think it would be an interesting comparison for everyone to mention how much each event costs for them. My housemate and I were looking at costs per event out west and it seemed a hell of a lot cheaper than out here on the east coast.
For pitt race:
•SCCA Time Trial =~$300
• Track Night in America = ~$200
• HPDE =$500ish

Depends on the track/organizer/day/month for sure. I tracked for 15+ years in California and now on my second year here in the NorthEast.

The real eye opener is adding up entry fee AND track insurance. It sure adds up.

Yeah there's a lot of variables at play for sure. But damn track insurance really sucks ? didn't get it for my last TT though lol.

Also side note, dude you're a wealth of data, my god ? can we just have a thread of Razorlab's data please?

My home track I am a member. $200/month but the entry fees are free we have 40 days a season on the calendar.
been as a member guest to other tracks like Summit- 400 for 2 days last month.

I instruct too and those events are gratis. I haven't ever bought insurance. Prob one BMW/Chin/PCA event a month and they do add up.

A friend and I just recently found out about it. Looks like a pretty sweet track and a decent amount of elevation change. Bet it's beautiful in Fall too. Motorsportreg seems to have a good number of events listed there with decent pricing as well.

I've been there 3 times this year and it is beautiful. Fair amnt of elevation change, not a ton of run-off and several corners which require commitment to put in good lap times. I'm still learning the track but have been to all the tracks in the NE save Palmer. I would put it near the top for challenging.

Does any one know the specs of Eibach Sway bars compared to OEM on stiffness ???

PHD.store has specs for aFe which aren't the same but I figure in the ballpark.

I'll be there rain or shine Sunday. I have an instructor booked and sometimes a wet track isn't so much an issue if you are focusing on learning the line

Or learning how to drive off line, in the rain. That’s where you’ll find your most grip. It’s a fun perspective for sure. After a few laps, you’ll find your speed creep up. And talk about an adrenaline rush when you do. Highly recommend everyone learn to drive in it

I feel WAY more confident when the rear breaks away now after about 10-20 full butthole pucker moments.

Quite a car control clinic. My hole is puckering an anticipation. Thanks. If it gets too crazy even at lower speeds I'll just pack it in.

After some laps I turned the traction control back on and although it was intervening at almost every turn, I found it difficult to screw up even if I was trying to push the limits, it really keeps the car pinned down.
