No offense; but i don't think you guys can actually drive a manual in a high-performance manner.
This is a short wheelbase, 2 seater; purely a performance toy. the AT-only RC-F is a better track/daily option.
In that sense please comprehend the following maneuvers:
A- in Autocross, approaching...
wow am stoaked!
and i *really* like the mildly stretched tires, this gives the maximum response!
i reckon the yellow part is the only functional "vent", opens up to cool stuff (maybe oil coolers behind it) at a certain temp? vents look cool, but vents add drag thats way everybody is faking...
i sincerely don't see any advantage of DCT's over the ZF's 8HP series of AT's.
8hp's are mostly faster shifting, bullet proof (holds tons of torque, can hammer it with worrying it would break). Also, depending on the car maker's programming, 8HP can down shift 2 gears at once or bounce the...
i was under the impression that you're a.k.a "Morizo"? xD
joking aside, i really appreciate what you're doing, and i "really" hope it doesn't get you in any -NDA- troubles.
i certainly do hope Toyota uses some sort of electric supercharger/turbocharger for low rpm torque filling. this would remove any transient turbo lag.the only "electrification" i would ever want.
If i may think out loud about what they can further improve
Thinking in GRMN's perspective, they have had extensive racing experience. For example Nurburgring, one would often go with softer front rebound and but stiffer bushings in such bumpy track. so in that mentality; to get the car "fun to...
Awesome! i honestly thought they would have comparable performance (86-BRZ or Stealth-3000GT), but am glad i was wrong actually lol! This is GREAT news!
damn! now where are those dumb f*** bean counters at Honda? Meanwhile the -manual only- CTR is having up to $20k markup! fricken bean counters at other companies should take a lesson from this.
