Sounds like what Zach had mentioned about the fit. I would try 2 things:
1: rotate the adapter plug in the car lighter socket, the ground sides may not be 100% around the outside (they should be but haven't looked).
2: bend them out a little bit if you can/want to try to make a connection a bit...
I have no intention of trying to trade in for a manual at this point but I know if I were in the market right now to buy a Supra, I would probably opt for the manual.
I don't love the ZF8. I mean its by far the best automatic car i've driven but there is something about rowing the gears, I love...
Either that or the fuse was blown, if you plug in both individual things in the lighter by themselves do they each work correctly? I believe most of them have 20A fuses so thats a good bit a power to blow that fuse. (12V * 20A = 240W)
I think I have to move getting new pads up the list. 3 days of driving and probably about 100 miles on the new wheels and…(I did ceramic coat them so it should be an easy wash but damn)
Any good pad recommendations? I was trying to get some Winmax W3 a couple months ago but can't get them anywhere.
i got my first “is that a Supra?!” The other day at a ford dealer (was going to just look at a mach-e they said they had one in the lot) and I said no it was a bmw. We both got a good laugh and talked about how great the car was for like 20 mins since they didn’t have the mach-e.
Honestly took like 2 hours and was pretty easy. Plus I was taking the wheels off anyway. First track day will be next month so I hope ill notice a difference.
Ok I can solve this:
if its a CAN signal, just get an arduino with a CAN Bus shield and write a little code so it handles it properly.
If its just a logic low/high, tie the wire that goes back to the BCM to whichever makes it think the trunk is close.
like $50 for parts if you have to go the...
Hi Guys, I was going to start working on a 3d printable mount for the JB4, I have one but its installed and honestly I can't find my calipers for detailed measurements and can't find them online. Should be easier if you have one thats not installed or even a pair of calipers around.
Does anyone...
I've seen maybe 10 on the road here in south east PA, including my buddies and mine. I do enjoy the fact that I don't see them everyday (or every stop light like I do my RDX).
I love hatches, especially AWD hot hatches...even wagons. I loved the old WRX "5-door", Golf R, GTI, etc... but I get they are not for everyone. I just like the slightly added utility over sedans and I think they look better in most cases than their sedan counterparts.
For us in the US right now its really WRX, Golf R, and now this for an AWD manual *fun* car, remove the WRX if we want hatch.
That segment is very limited here and have wanted a Golf R for YEARS (since the 2004 R32) but this is making me think twice for my next DD.
Has anyone looked at the Ferodo 2500? I was trying to order some W3s but as I'm sure most of you are aware - sold out and can't find them anywhere but someone recommended looking for the 2500.
