Yeah same I run 5W-40 Liquimoly Special Tec no issues i live in Cali so temps are always 60 F above rarely get some days colder than that so I assume it’s okay

Curious how many 2020 or 21 owners still on the plastic oil pump.

Now I’m being told from a local shop that a software update isn’t necessary. Now I’m confused :(

I’m about to go to a local trusted shop for the new all metal oil pump. I’m hearing that for 2020 models they need a software update along with the new updated oil pump. I heard if you don’t get the update it could cause some issues. I’m tuned XHP and MHD. Would I have to remove all of it and go...

How reliable and well known is that shop? My first time hearing them

Kind of sucks for me since I got extended warranty on the car and it’s completely tune from trans to engine. I’d have to pay the pretty price of about $2600 at a well known local shop one day.

As a 2020 owner at 14k miles my pump is thankfully still good. I am curious how many other 2020 owners or early 21 have the same oem oil pump and is still working, if so what mileage?
