Some more people came up with this issue that you are describing but it is not exactly the same as we/OP are describing. In our case the vehicle doesn't directly respond when pressing the accelerator. In your case I would really go to the dealer for a stalling engine. That is really not normal.

While not a bad idea, this might be a solution for the first few stops you make on your route. But in my case it also happens after a drive of few 100km(62miles) and then coming to a stop. I highly doubt the engine protection cycle keeps active during that whole period ?‍♂️
