Yea the mount just fixes to the car using spaces in the grill, so you can move it up and down as you wish… I’d say you wouldn’t be far off the top of the grill with that size plate too ??

I have a “carbonio mount” tucked away in the garage somewhere… if anyone’s after one I’m open to selling it within the UK ? …it was on the car for around 6 months but I’ve since had a 3/4 sized plate made up and mounted it differently...

A bit costly IMO for what they are, but they’re worth it when they’re on, defo a lot nicer than the OEM ones… supply isn’t the greatest, sometimes got to wait a good while til they make new batches too, so just keep an eye out on their instagram mate

I’ve done the exact same on the front of mine, couldn’t stand the little splash of body colour under there either ?

No all went together fine mate… the front 2 are tapped and just had a little paint overspray in them so nothing to worry about, and the rear 2 are just clearance holes I used M10x30 for the fronts and then M8x50 for the rears with a nyloc nut underneath (bolts a bit longer will be fine too)…...

Regarding the windscreen issues… the first few drives, or maybe even the first week say, you’ll think you’re sitting on the road almost, laying right back and the car will feel huge etc… it doesn’t take long to get used to it though! As you say, it’s just what you’re used to driving before it...
