Only read couple of respodses above so this might be duplicative. I find that tire noise level really depends on the road surface. There are times the supra is so quiet that I think you can put a sleeping baby in it and it wouldn't wake up during a trip - other road surfaces, I practically need...
Received my package today. It does come from Taipei. Seems like tracking is delayed (says mine is still in transit) but I’m not surprised because it’s usps.
I won’t have my car this Friday yet and on the 7th I’m going snowboarding. 14th seems free but I’m sure others will want to meet beforehand. Wonder when all the C&C events will be starting back up.
Summer tires having no grip in standing snow is a no brainer. Otherwise, what nibble said. I’ve driven my Supra around town/highway in temps as low as 15 degrees. The only problem is not having a heated steering wheel.
That deal has been happening for past couple of years.
if you run their trial and let it expire you can usually re-up it again in couple of days. I was on trial for about 2.5 years til they actually banned my radio ID (then I got the Supra lol)
Everything is fine for me. I don’t have anything intricate to tune though (although it’s offered). John (Visconti) randomly called me months later to check on how things were going - so that was a nice touch . Marshall (sales/support) is also great at texting back when you have questions. I’ve...
You can do it remotely, this way you don’t have to go anywhere. Visconti (I have their tune) and twisted tuning are both sponsors here and offer remote services.
Yes, this has happened to my car but it was much colder (think <35). Posted a thread about it here - basically the consensus was that it was fairly normal. I don’t have a fix as it does appear to be a cold weather only thing for frameless windows.
I note though this is the only car with...
Don't need to. It's something that's clear to me from owning my car and also when I log into the owner's section where it says I'm enrolled in the map updates and and also allows me to select a region that I need to update. It looks like it's only unclear to you, but you don't appear to own the...
Wrong. Ive received nav/map updates while I was in the car (not the only one, there was a thread about this some place on this forum). It prompts you then downloads them. Then the system restarts. No USB sticks were used.
Here’s a pic from inside my car. Peep the “automatic” part and note that...
Let me quote it for you - "I'll gladly take a "cheap" Subaru over a high "quality" BMW."
I'm sure if you were actually gonna take anything you'd march down to the dealership with the said car and "take" it. But here we are - internet fighting.
