I think it should be the V8 since its just a refresh not a full redesign. That V8 can hold more power than TMC tune it to put out. Also I wont be surprised if the refresh drop some weight and gain some power to put it close to the supposed supra performance. The new LS500 is said to start at...
Hahahahaha. I think it would be on there. We all know TMC is the king when it comes to suspense. There is nothing stopping them from dropping the whole list at once. But they had rather keep messing with us with models they know wont make it to the states or outside Japan.
That gear selector is everything I have always wished for in an automatic car with manual shift option. looks like a meaner 86. I freaking love it. I hope they pull an LC stunt with it.
Good point. but a lot is going on at TMC right now that might bridge a lot of price gap in there line up. remember there is still another supposed sport car that might join the line up. The renewed celica trademark might take the 86 name and go up in price so that the smallest SFR(IMO a perfect...
That's not bad. I hope they make it so good that they can advertise it as an alternative to Porsche. Also is it going to be called supra or should we expect a name change like the Lexus SC to Lexus LC?
The price is good to know. I kind of figure 65,000 is getting close to RCF territory. But the power dough lol. Is it very comparable to 911 paper specs or better? am talking upward of 370hp and torque with weight close to 3100lb
65,000 is kind of strange. That would put the price close to the RCF. Also the RCF should be getting a mid cycle update soon based on some spy shots taken. And considering the price of the new LS and LC I won't be surprised if the RCF comes in @ 65,000. And at that price I Know a lot of people...
considering how good the LC sounds and Knowing that Yamaha did the LFA sound tune, fingers are crossed for what an LCF will sound like. (Am sorry off topic)
hahahahaha. finally no more talk of a 650hp corvette chaser. It's a good day to be on this forum. Thank you guys for being more realistic. I will be 100% percent happy with a Toyota that can put down a 911 number and performance. I just hope we can get the Toyota reliability and a reasonable...
I agree with you. I don't think Toyota would want to mess with the legacy of the supra. It might be a supra successor (kind off) but might not use the name supra. Just like the Lexus SC became the LC.
I understand you can say anything about this meeting. But In your opinion is it going to be impressive? and since they are taking inputs is it safe to say there are still things that can change.
