Do you mean the build date on the ECU? I had a tuner scan my ecu and he pulled the version from it and said it was locked. Unsure what version it was. But now i have a new ecu in there so i have to have it rechecked.

Its funny you mention this. My car was sitting on the dealers lot for almost 6 months before i bought it and its all ready wanting me to service it soon and its only got 500 miles.

@Rexpeed Do you guys plan on making functional vents for the front bumper, hood and rear bumper? Not sure of all those pieces just pop off. I realize ill have to make a ducting system but just the pieces having open vents would look so much better.

The dealer filled with reg 87 fuel and when i found out during the purchase i told them it should have been 91 fuel. 91 is the best CA has to offer. Instead of getting all the fuel out they bought a octane booster bottle and said it would bring the octane up to 91 so i didn't have to worry...

Update: So I reached out to toyota customer support about the issue and they called me back today. Also new ecu will be here tomorrow and put into the car on friday. The toyota rep. asked what my end goal was and basically to be fixed and to offer the extended warrenty at a discount price...

Mine is a 2020 and as of right now its been in the shop for 1 week. They said they are trying to order a new ECU or main computer for the car from BMW but they have no idea when it will be available. I put a ticket into toyota customer service today and they will be calling me tomorrow.

Unfortunately no. Only loaner i would want would be another supra lol. The supra was just a weekend car anyways so i didnt need a loaner.

Just to give you a heads up this causes a hidden code go off. It wont be on the dash but if you bring your car to service they will see it of they plug there obd2 senor into the port and check.

I also noticed while wireless charging my samsung 10e that it get hot also so thats why i bought the proclip holder.

I use the pro clip holder now and charge with the usb or cig outlet. Wireless charging area is secondary charge or storage now.

I feel they are just replacing different things until they find the issue. They are not 100 percent sure this is the problem. Toyota just suggested to change it out.

Update: So it looks like im getting a new ECU from toyota. To think I almost had my ECU unlocked for tuning. Im having second thoughts on tuning this car now. @Marin@MarinTuned Curious if a good tuner would have been able to fix this issue.
