  1. Habits & Rituals

Or when they don't tuck the seatbelt buckle back in between the door and seat ?
  2. Habits & Rituals

I have some OCD like tendencies. My driver side and passenger side climate control temps must always match. When I park I have to adjust my car 3-4 times sometimes until it "feels right". My steering wheel must always be perfectly straight (to my eye) when I park my car. When I put my phone...
  3. PSA: BMW wireless charging pads are killing NFC chips in iPhone 15 Pros. Here's how to disable the wireless charging pad.

Interesting, I also have a 7 pro but with a pretty thin speigen case and it will not charge not matter how hard I try. My Pixel 6 pro was the same way. Maybe I just have a weaker charging pad.
  4. Removing airbag

Bimmercode settings stay. I think you may lose your number button presets and a few other things though, but nothing that you have coded gets lost.
  5. PSA: BMW wireless charging pads are killing NFC chips in iPhone 15 Pros. Here's how to disable the wireless charging pad.

Yeah same. I have a Pixel, so the camera bar plus my case is enough to keep it from charging. I don't even keep my phone there anyway, that's my sunglasses spot. Phone either stays in my pocket or goes in my proclip mount.
  6. Oil Question

Phew..... Thank god you made this thread. It has been way too long since we've had another oil thread
  7. Rexpeed carbon fiber quality

Yeah the OEM one is a bit pricey. I do like the way the matte carbon looks but the fitment is just not good. I even contacted them about it and their customer service was very good. They ended up sending me a replacement immediately. Unfortunately the replacement one was 10x worse. The whole...
  8. Rexpeed carbon fiber quality

Sorry, I don't really have any good pics but you can see the matte finish is these. The finish and the weave on the wing is nice but the fit and over all quality is maybe a 6/7 out of 10. Seems to be hit or miss with them.
  9. 88K for a 45th Anniversary?

I honestly wouldn't even want to pay MSRP for that thing. I've seen one in person at Formula D, I did not like the color at all and the wing was meh. The Trueno Edition GR86 was much nicer.
  10. decodeddiesel's 2020 A90 DD to weekend fun car journey

Yeah it was nuts. Basically anyone who was like "hey chill out dude, no one is trying to offend you" he called a Twisted Tuning D!*k rider. Super childish.
  11. What mods or choices do you regret?

Oh ok I hear ya, they just don't offer an A91 style wing other than Rexpeed's. Hopefully someone else will come out with a rep that actually fits properly.
  12. What mods or choices do you regret?

Most of the wings they sell are Rexpeed wings
  13. What mods or choices do you regret?

I'm in the same boat as you. I don't want to bash Rexpeed because I've gotten good stuff from them before. But I purchased their A91 rep wing and it did not fit well. The drivers side edge of the wing does not sit flush. So I contacted them about it and their customer service was great, they got...
  14. Stock exhaust

DP slides into the mid pipe and a clamp slides over them to snug em down.
  15. Summer/Winter Tires vs All-Season (CrossClimate)

.3" lower in the rear but .3" higher up front. Got that info off Tire Size Calculator. I have never scraped with my winter wheels on either.
  16. Summer/Winter Tires vs All-Season (CrossClimate)

Yeah def get a set of snow wheels and tires if you can. Driving this car in the snow without snow tires can get sketchy or simply just get you stuck.
  17. Summer/Winter Tires vs All-Season (CrossClimate)

Do you have to drive in the snow regularly during the winter?
  18. Apple or Android??

Just look up MMI Prime from Bimmertech. It's a bit pricey and takes some effort to install but it's totally worth it.
