I am just sitting in a friends basement, 1000 miles from home waiting for the dealer to call and tell me the car has arrived and is ready....not sure how long I will stay hunkered down before waiving the white flag and getting a flight home...

Glad that isn’t my dealership. Seriously, with all phone in everyone’s pockets, what are these dealerships thinking?? Maybe this was the new owner show-boating...I guess if that was the case, who cares, but if this is just employees screwing around, that would really be a shame.

Does anybody actually have a firm appointment set on Monday at X time for delivery?? Starting to think some of these deliveries are going to be delayed... Seems dealerships aren’t willing to set a firm delivery appointment and some don’t even know where the car is in the delivery process...

Correct, for the standard they said they typically get it all installed on day 1, day 2 is inspection and minor corrections. They said I could take it as a soon as they are done on day 1, but waiting a day so they can go back over everything is preferred. Not “two weeks” for the full coverage...
