Not zero, but the 30 minutes it was in the “shop” was to have the Texas state inspection done since I moved down here. Haven’t had any issues with it yet, though.

Yeah the trunk looks pretty awful. Also, I don't know why if they were going to replace the side door panels they wouldn't go with something like the TRD side door garnishes and delete the fake vents... Kind of silly that their piece keeps the fake vents there intact. Would've looked better if...

The CF caps replaced the red LE ones (you pop the old ones off and the new ones on). There may be covers out there, but they’d be third-party and not OEM.

Are you all down here in Houston? I have a black LE (it’s hard to tell because I replaced the red mirror caps with CF ones) but haven’t seen any other Supras around town yet. Good to hear there are quite a few of us down here. :cool:

I have Xpel window tint and specifically selected it as it has the least color among the other tints from what I saw.

I just can’t get over those cutouts in the hood... they look so random / bad. I really liked the TRD CF parts for this car (enough to buy and have them installed) so it baffles me how TRD could go from that to this. I wonder if there were different teams working on the two / they farmed this...

I just picked up the OEM GR luggage mat from Japan. Here’s a couple of shots for reference of the front and the back. (I’d folded it up and put it in a box to transport it back, hence the temporary creases, but they’re already starting to go away since I took these pictures.)

I also saw them mentioning in that article “below MSRP,” when many of those cars are probably base models, which would make those prices actually at / above MSRP. But I doubt they know the difference. A lot of dealerships are using generic pictures (often of the LE) when advertising the car and...

Great... another over-the-top body kit. The preview graphics for this one are somehow worse than TRD’s.

It almost looks like it’s coated in Vantablack, which looks awesome, but is much more suited when the car itself doesn’t look that great. For example: Although it’s cool, completely blacking out the Supra loses a lot of its sexy lines, especially with glossy black. Either way, it looks nice...

I do wonder if it really was just a bad sample - I recently drove the MKV across the country (including through Tail of the Dragon) and have been using it as a daily; I have been pleasantly surprised how it’s been handling (in a good way) thus far. It wouldn’t be MT’s fault if Toyota supplied...

I think that half the reason this car will do poorly in terms of sales is because of the JDM purists that hate Bimmers. The other half will be because of Toyota dealerships. Hopefully this will be a lesson to Toyota (but it probably won’t be...).
