yes i sanded and did one coat of primer. Sorry i never think about it anymore because i sand and prime everything i paint. started with 220 grit and then fished with 320 grit. made it pretty smooth

good old Rustoleum 3 coats each. then clear coat 3 coats

problem is our current charge pipes are plastic and have had issues failing previously on high boost. The cost to get an aftermarket one isn't too much and if you aren't pushing serious amounts of boost you will probably be ok for the time being.

Ok I had a gen 1 but got stolen years ago. Haven’t needed one on my daily as it doesn’t go fast enough. But I have heard that the uniden r7 is better that v1 so been researching both. Did not know that removed the analog knob, that could make it annoying to turn down alerts.

still waiting for a second dyno video. This was the first i've seen. and i think they only did one pass? Also not sure if car was hard driven before it got on the dyno? Could account for some heat soak?

not entirely sure on this one. If you check the dynos for the 2020 z4 with the same motor as the MY21 this the below. Yes i know the dyno result is posted from Jalopnik but there were others from Motor1 and other sites that seemed to match. Dyno seems to be inline with 382 hp converted to WHP...

wait didn't Guff get a 2.0? you can remove some of the pops and bags with a tune. I know the BM3 OTS 2.2 doesnt sound nearly as bad as stock, although dont forget to remove active sound on it too thats probably the most annoying thing about new cars is piping in sound.
