Sub ready. Made custom grills for on top mid bass box. That was a little tricky From scratch

Final pic of fab work. All deadening done, inserts in all boxes, all panels made and ready for vinyl and carpet.

Replacement rear sub box. Will sit directly on top of stick box and be trimmed in. Running 2- 8” mid bass @ 2ohm giving them 300 watts each in .55 cubic ft each.

Staring on false floor for amp rack and will tie into mid bass box

Awesome stuff. Cant wait till I get to this point myself.

Next stage. Box all done minus carpet. Working on laying out 8” mid drivers on top of existing subs and amp rack construction next.

Ok. And to be clear. When I do it. Should I use a heavier oil. Also. Would you use amsoil?

Sorry. This may have been covered before. But I started my Supra today (21 a91) and a oil warning came on the screen saying I need Toyota to do something w my oil. I have 2620 miles. Is this normal or is this the dreaded consuming issue

Test fit. Little bigger than I would have liked. But going ported and a large sub made it that way. Gonna fit up well.

Here you can see I got the box to the correct cubic footage and ported it to be tuned at 32 hertz. Will start building the front up now.

Decided to port the enclosure. So started modeling different subwoofer angles.

it’s just 3 amps total All JL VXI. 600/6, 600/2, 1000/1 Yes. Eliminating content channel. I would like to keep it. But will have plenty of speakers and tuning ability
