Is this a losing ecu date. 21 a91

Wow. For some reason I thought every refraction Supra was locked. This is encouraging. I need to grow a set and just check the ECU. Maybe tmrw I will. Thanks

Is it 100% confirmed that every single a91 is locked. I have a refraction and I’m scared to touch the ecu.

That’s where it gets funky. U gotta fully commit then. Doors only have 4” speakers. A guy on here names metal just did some crazy doors w 6.5s in them. But then you need 6-8 channel amps and DSP. I opted to go all audio frog speakers up front and replace the 8” current subs w Steven audio...

To be clear. Have you done any other upgrades, amps, DSP, speakers. Or are we talking just adding a few 8s to the rear.

By chance. Do u have any pics of the work being done, or the enclosures before install

I’ve seen people use strong Velcro for them. But most incorporate a bolt or 2 in the enclosure. So u gotta remove the sub to get the box out.

I’ve seen a few people install amps there as well and most say they have no issues w seat hitting it. I’m gonna mount mine behind the oem 8s at an angle

I’ve ordered from a90 shop and have confidence in what they sell. But the side pods are definitely my bigger question. I think they look cool and would really look nice in satin black against refraction blue

Question. I’m picking out lip kits, I like the heritage side pods. Can you use them w any configuration Also Has anyone had any luck w the color matched fenders from a90 shop. Are they spot on?

Metal. only place I’ve seen is in the phone charging area.

Metal is my hero. I’ve been leaning on him w questions for a few weeks. He has really put the time in to learn the craft and tuning as well. His build is killer. And he’s not done either.
