Lmao, seriously? Love your passive aggressive dickery there, but you've literally added nothing to this conversation besides "read the manual". So incredibly helpful you. Bet you're a ton of fun at parties.
Neither 24hrs or autocross will replicate a good mountain run. Neither will track time on a bike. All of which I've participated in. Not really sure about the proving yourself comment...that's not exactly the reasoning behind it, but to each their own. Cruising through the mountains has nothing...
Yes, I've been to about 6-7 of them total. I was 1 of 5 Supras in the last one I went to. I was 1 of 3 Nocturnal Black Supras. I was 1 of 1 Nocturnal Black Supras who didn't drive beyond their abilities and didn't crash. That being said, if you know your limits, and don't get all macho, and go...
You left out recommended oil viscosity due to epa regulated mpg. 0W/16 is a direct result of needing higher mpg to meet regulations. 0W/20 isn't far off of that. Spinning a crankshaft through 5W/40 takes significantly more power than spinning it through 0W/20. Likely the cause of peoples lower...
Nice dude. I'm in Short Pump area, and run Import Autohaus in Richmond. If anyone local wants to get together for Mountain cruises, The Blue Ridge Road Rally is monthly. Unfortunately they just had June's yesterday. Otherwise if anyone wants to get together let me know! I'm down. Also, I bought...
Ok this is probably a stupid question, and I already googled, and feel more stupid after reading...why does our rear differential have a ground to frame?
Ebay with good reviews. Less than 1/3 the price of the Motorsports ones, and literally the same thing. Likely made in the same chinese factory. I've run multiple 6-8hr mountain cruises, driving aggressively, and not an issue. Zinc coated, zero rust, zero issues. Just make sure you're buying...
He kinda looks like your mom's girlfriend's sister's new, mid transition boyfriend, trying to prove he's just one of the "guys" by telling you why the N55 motor is superior to the B58 in the Supra because of all the forums they've read...flat brim and wayfarers to boot
I picked up a set of Silvers NeoMax, and was pleasantly surprised. They weren't as good as my Fortunes or HKS's I had on a previous car, but they are easily better than Ksport, BC, Tein I've had. I'd probably compare them to my ST's. They're light years ahead of Godspeed/Megan stuff, as well...
You have to remove the whole rear bumper, which is ridiculously easy compared to a lot of other cars. There are a couple youtube videos explaining how. Takes about 15 min. Once off, you can just pull the plugs on the sensors, and then remove the lower piece and replace.
I installed my Silvers NeoMax coilovers, and rear camber arms. I then adjusted my wheels to how I wanted them to sit for height and camber (within reason) and then went to a local Firestone that has a pullover alignment machine. Bought the lifetime with the app discount for $180.
Tata has already made the deal with BMW to source the engines for their upcoming Rover/Jag lines. I run a high end Euro import shop, and the Tata engines are complete shit. They've done nothing but deal with warranty issues since they came out. No idea on the S58 in the Supra, but doesn't seem...
