there isn't a whole lot you can do to those cars so i could see it getting boring after awhile but i could be wrong.
my neighbour has one i do like it a lot, its up to you end of the day.
pure 800/900 will pretty easily max out your stock trans with an ethanol tune. little easier to throw $3500 bucks at your car and yield 150-200 wheel in return with a bolt-on plug and play turbo and a tune.
i can also promise you that at the 600-650 wheel range a stock location/style turbo will...
ive always been a compound > width guy and i hate rubbing... learned my lesson on my civic so i'm keeping it safe on the supra.
i also went up to a 30mm split between the front and rear tires (255/285) because i prefer the way it feels on the street with the rear a lot more settled down. so...
port injection 1050cc injectors/ pump e85 call it a day.
xhp trans software to up the clutch pressure might help but as long as you keep the torque mitigated it will be fine
well i'm running a 285/35 on a 10.5 wide rear so could possibly be helping with stability but i was honestly impressed with this tire for how well it will corner for being a primarily straight line focused tire. it works well on the street for spirited driving
they make two versions of the tire g2 and r2 completely different compound g2 is a hockey puck of a tire maybe you were on that because i assure you it is difficult to get the car to spin now with the r2 on the back
honestly man on the street the nitto nt555rii will easily out perform most "normal" 300ish treadwear UHP summer tires *on the rear axle*
ive had
-michelin super sport
-michelin pilot sport 4 s (x2)
the nitto's manage the rear end of the car better than both around corners.
they are drag radials and i was concerned it might not corner well but i was very wrong... the car corners on rails it actually eliminated almost all of the oversteer from my car.
i'm running 255/35/19 pilot sport 4s / 285/35/19 nitto nt555rii and the car is extremely balanced now, i've had to...
