@S2k as promised There was a little more oil residue but it dripped out when I removed the seal.. As I said a bit of oil (up to about a tea spoon,) in here is completely normal and nothing to worry about! On another note, how close is your carbon lid to the strut tower? Is this the bit you...

So your front mats also have the Supra logos?? By any chance do you know the part number for your front mats? It may still be on the mat..

Can I just add that although the Supra on book has 335bhp, rolling road figures often show them closer to 375bhp stock. Also, the torque matches (or comes close to) that of the new M40i; they're both around 500nm. And, the Supra IMO has a sole, BMW / Audi's don't (they're tools / instruments.)

In short yes, it should have logged the fault. Being a BMW they're probably not overly clued up on these systems..
