  1. Reduced Driver Assistance Warning Popped Up

Hey, I had that once happen to me when I had to get my exhaust adjusted. When I was driving the car, the error came up saying something similar and also said there was a malfunction in the the sensors. So I talk to the guy that adjusted the aftermarket exhaust, he was familiar with this issue...
  2. Anyone has a leaky transmission fluid pan?

I am just trying to help out. I just had my diff seal replaced about 2 weeks ago from the dealership. What was shown to me by the mechanic was up near the trans pan. You have to really look for it. I thought the same thing as you are right now that it was the seal on the pan itself; however...
  3. Anyone has a leaky transmission fluid pan?

Ok. Definitely get the car fixed. Since it's still under warranty, I would recommend doing it right away.
  4. Totaled or nah?

  5. Flat tire contingency plan?

Hey, I was thinking the same thing; however Toyota sells a emergency repair kit for it. I ordered one just in case. I had an experience where I ran over a long construction nail and luckily it didn't puncture the tire. So, I decided to get this instead so I can drive until I reach a dealership...
  6. Windshield and chips, so easy with the 2020 and cleaning the Windshield is horrible.

You can still do it. I had it done, and you don't notice it too much unless you are up close and in direct sunlight. See if getting expel ppf would help the outside of the window. If you do get it tinted, look into the ceramic Ultra violett tint. Its different and more expensive, but we'll worth...
  7. Windshield and chips, so easy with the 2020 and cleaning the Windshield is horrible.

Noticed it too. When I had my front windshield tinted, I noticed a fine line from the blade. They guy at the shop I had it done said he never saw a windshield glass so soft to do that.
  8. Anyone has a leaky transmission fluid pan?

Have you checked you diff seal first? There are supras experiencing this and it will drop down to the trans pan. The diff seal sits right above it. Because of the angle of the car, it will drop right on to it. Check that first.
  9. Drivetrain malfunction

You should be wary of the dealership now. Check out my forum about the diff seal being defective.
  10. Defective Rear Diff Seal

I'm glad I can rely on you guys for feed back. I know what the service manager said is BS, but holy s#*t this took the cake. Next time I go the after the 1600 miles test on the new diff seal I bring it up again and this time record the service manager on my phone about it.
  11. Defective Rear Diff Seal

Went to the dealership last week and I spoke with the service manager and now get this, he tells me that since the Supra is a BMW platform, this car has built in AI that learns your driving pattern and if you don't drive it for more than a certain amount of time, it deletes it. So, since the car...
  12. Car barely starts

I agree. I had talked to a Toyota corporate engineer when they came inspect the car for some issues including the trunk. The Corp guy was saying that the catch is made of hard plastic instead of metal. When you have the car at certain angles, it will not open. I was able to replicate it. There...
  13. Where to get good touch-up paint?

I second that. That's where I got mine.
  14. Drivetrain malfunction

You should change your oil. Don't wait till the time they want you to wait. Plus don't use there shitty oil. You will notice the difference. Bring the car to a different dealership if they tell you no.
  15. Drivetrain malfunction

I do come across that from time to time. Especially when I don't drive for a few days, but I have not had the malfunction come up yet. I did just recently had a diff seal replaced and had a complete new transmission fluid put in. I would have the dealership look at it right away.
  16. Defective Rear Diff Seal

Hahaha, I figured that. I am going to ask the dealership to see if they can reflash the ECU. I asked my brother about it and he told be that with BMW, because of the integration of computers, if Toyota disconnected the battery, they might have forgotten about reprogramming the car. So, car might...
  17. Defective Rear Diff Seal

True true. I just having to go back on Thursday to try to solve more issues.
  18. Oil change

Lol. I do agree with that. I know a neighbor that works as a mechanic for Lexus my brother works for Subaru so I hear the stories. I am OCD with my Supra. If it's out of my garage for more than a day I get antsy.
  19. Is it worth it to buy a 2020 Supra now?

No, I haven't really faced major issues. Just the seal and bugs in system software that happens here and there. Bugs don't really hinder the function of the car or the driving of the car. I don't regret buying it despite some flaws. It's still fun and it's a badass car.
  20. New Toyota Emblems for Hood and Rear

Have you tried covering the badges instead of taking them off? I was thinking of using these overlays. https://grfxp.myshopify.com/products/copy-of-color-changing-emblem-overlays-for-mk5-toyota-supra?_pos=6&_sid=420ecfee1&_ss=r
