A lot of it is in the tuning, flywheel weight and reportedly the rev-match option if you use it.
personally haven’t tuned my MT, but there was a slight difference in rev hang when I had a new clutch and lighter flywheel installed, but it wasn’t major. I’ve also done the CDV delete and bushing...
would those Verus pucks work with these? You might still need to drive up some wood, but atleast you wouldn't have to align the quickjacks to the female jackpoints
you lose a lot of the lower tones through the phone/PC/youtube, so just be mindful of that. I used to have the HKS exhaust and it sounded a lot more raspy online than it did in-person. In person it had a really nice low-end tone to it.
If anyone tracks their car, they're inherently accepting that it's completely possible it can be wrecked - I don't think that's lost on anyone. I don't ride anymore, and I want to continue to develop and track my Supra. Is that an issue?
dude, just talk to some local Supra owners at a weekly Cars & Coffee in your area and ask to hear/listen to their car. I get why you posted but at the end of the day, it's really difficult for us to truly quantify this stuff. We can say "this exhaust is louder than that one", but even then...
ran Laguna Seca for the first time over the weekend. Amazing track and deceivingly complex. It's massive elevation change truly tests your braking wits.... and your balls.
heres a video clip recorded from when the photo above was taken:

Clutch started slipping at almost 12K miles, about 12 track events. Only increased power the last two events.
a clip of the slip during my last track day
For a high-speed run like that, the priority should be minimizing lift wherever possible rather than simply adding high-pressure downforce. A drag wing from Verus is a solid option. Up front, hood or fender vents — along with opened or cut fenders like EVS fenders — can help evacuate pressure...
