just going to throw this in here. I have 11.8K miles, 10 track events. During this event (in this spliced together clip of slip), I was running 485HP, 470wtq.
I suspect they do because I'm now using a Verus V1X wing, and the struts are able to hold it up when lifting the hatch. I'll get you a part number later.
There's no additional reinforcement on the underside of the trunk itself. Just the reinforcement plates that attach to the underside of the upright mounts. The wing itself does not generate so much downforce that additional reinforcement is necessary.
If it's about aesthetics, just run it the way you think looks good. As long as you're not rubbing, there's no problem. If you plan to track, that's a separate discussion.
Ran NASA Buttonwillow (CW #1) over the weekend. Unfortunately had some clutch slippage issues so I decided to continue the day and allow the clutch to die a honorable slow death. Even though I was only able to half throttle fourth gear, I was still able to get some meaningful testing done on...
487WHP, 495WTQ. Tuned to have a more linear tq curve. Apparently there’s people running more HP/TQ on 6MT and have no issues with slipping because they know how to drive and the people slipping don’t.
I was at Buttonwillow for the weekend. Using Ferodo DS1.11 for the first time and after four sessions I'm mostly pleased. Also my first time running RZ's. I've never run RS's so I have no reference for comparison to the two, but I like the stiffer sidewall compared to the AD09's I was...
what codes are you referring to? I ran OTS map for a bit, and the only code I got was from deleting my charcoal canister (unrelated to the actual unlock).
The community is more segmented now. Facebook groups, Reddit, and Discord, and here. "Back in the day", there was typically one main hub... the forums.
