I think the only thing that's making me hesitant about an unlock+tune is the amount of posts I see about codes and errors after a flash.

Is this just the norm? Anyone out there with a code error free experience? Make me feel better please :D

I get codes after a flash, but they go away after a short drive or clearing them and they don't return until I re-flash. Unless you are self-tuning, you are unlikely to need to re-flash all that often. 💁‍♂️

Never had any codes related to the flash. Seen ones completely unrelated and allowed me to fix an issue.

Its nothing to worry about, its like a "battery below threshold" warning that does nothing and clears easily.

Friend of mine gets zero codes. I get all types of codes every time I flash. At first, I was annoyed, but now I simply read the codes/delete them right after every flash and it has become habit. Don’t let that from deterring you MHD is great.

what codes are you referring to? I ran OTS map for a bit, and the only code I got was from deleting my charcoal canister (unrelated to the actual unlock).

DME voltage, chassis, full drive power availability shortly. Always something different. Regardless if cars on tender or not. I know most do not have any problems. Like I said, it doesn’t bother me though.

same for me, usually on a tender or after the car has been on a tender. so not a real low battery fault.
