I put a deposit late October 2023, and received my 45th Anni 6MT early early February. I actually could have had it sooner, but I was traveling when a 45th came in January and they held it for a week before they informed me they had to sell it to someone else. I had to wait until the next one...
Picked up my Mikan Blast 45th for $70k -- that includes the dealership markup. In SoCal, the average markup at the time I got mines (February), was about $2.5-$3.5k. Their original ADM was $5k, but was able to talk them down a bit.
So just to update everyone who's contributed so far... "smacking" the top of the shift knob downwards has helped a little bit. I can occasionally still hear it in third gear but the rattle is significantly less. I'm inclined to REALLY smack the thing down with a lot more force, but I'm a bit...
This just happened to me this morning. I pulled my car out of the garage last night (it's not my daily), and parked it on my drive way so I can take it to work on a Friday. My driveway is slanted down toward the street about 15 degrees. When I started the car this morning (in neutral), the...
The combo looks amazing man.
This is the reason why I'm in NO rush to "upgrade" the 2023+ stock premium wheels. They look amazing and are not heavy. The best looking stock wheel out of all of the models imo. With that said -- sure you can gain some preferred handling characteristics by...
If you don't plan to push the car to it's limits (that's ok), you really just need to concern yourself with normal car stuff; maintenance and regular wear and tear (significantly lower since you won't push it). Nothing outstanding to look out for. Enjoy the car :)
*Holding the knob or shifter will slightly make the rattling less pronounced
*I don't think the noise goes that deep to the gearbox -- to me it sounds like it's somewhere in the range of the assembly
*It's the standard/stock MT setup. No mods to the knob, boot, shaft, or assembly.
a bit difficult to pinpoint. But my guess it's in the area of the shifter shaft/linkage area. Drove my daily to work today, I'll try to get a sound clip of it later.
The sound is pretty prominent when shifting to 3rd gear as revs increase, then goes away when shifting into 4th. I don't have a sound clip -- but anyone hear something similar with their MT?
edit: clip added. You can hear it really well at 8 seconds.
I was coming off a red light turn... shifted into first, and started to slip the clutch in, and the car got angry and started jerking like crazy. It's happened to me twice since I bought the car. Hasn't happened in a few weeks though. Not sure what the hell happened...
I don't think this is entirely true. People like a "good story", when they buy an older car. What's unique about the 45th? Not much, a strut brace, Mikan Blast paint, a stock adjustable wing and a side stripe/decal.
But even so, it has a badge and VIN from the factory indicating a limited...
