wet filter less filtration but more airflow
modern car is sensitive to wet filter so dont overoil the filter. but oil still will get sucked in one way or another with wet filter
whats the link for? its saying what the filter does. We are talking about wet vs dry filter. wet filter is better vs dry filter is what im saying. both wet and dry does the same thing but one has better flow vs better filtration
dry filter is the way to go. unless u want to keep re oiling it. even then wet filter isnt too great on modern cars. Oil can get onto the sensors after the filter. modern cars are especially sensitive.
i dont think ive heard of running with mat and trunk cover off on stock power for cooling. Unless you're doing it for the slight weight reduction. Your issue might just be a one off electrical gremlin

the whole center lifts up. but you'll need to remove the trim on the left of the shifter first. I did it 1st week of ownership brand new. yes screwed in. cheap from oem at least. passenger ripped the leather. easy job :doh:
