We suspect the new converter wasn’t pre-filled with fluid, and installed a new converter from Pure properly pre-filled. That fixed the issue, just got my first passes yesterday starting to feel it out.

Cleaned up the engine bay, and got some help from Evolution of Speed / @Jesse DaBears with installing a parachute and driveshaft loop.

Update -- After talking with three highly respected tuners, all seem to believe it's an issue with the high stall converter. I've reached out to Pure, to see if I can have it removed and sent back for inspection or replacement.
