OP,
based on your ROM ID in the screenshot provided, your ECU does not need a bench unlock. you can flash straight away with MHD since that looks like what you're using.
stock for stock the main reason for the power increase in the 2021 over the 2020 is a simple tune adjustment to allow more boost carried over 5000-5500rpm. That's where the power increase on paper comes from.
The 6 port exhaust manifold vs the 2 port manifold is only a discussion beyond...
from my experience most of the steering/handling issues that people have experienced actually stemmed from the factory alignment and getting a more track oriented alignment helped fix or reduce the bad behavior.
this car can still be a little tail happy with the short wheelbase, but a good tune...
oil is your choice. Some people stick with whatever the dealers give. And others use amsoil.
In all our builds however, we use Schaeffer Oil products. in the Supra specifically we use Schaeffer Supreme 9000 syn oil with a 5w40 weight. I would definitely bump up the weight of the oil...
Dont worry about the visible inner pipe edge. That will be cut back/made prettier in the production version. This was a quick mock up to decide if i liked it or not. Adds a nice touch over the raw SS look.
still don't know why people still sell AIC1/6 units, lol. i have the EOS pi setup on my car but with an AIC2P that does flex fuel and other comps.
The Motiv reflex is a good unit as well which adds some other features that people can use like boost control and etc for those who divorced...
You can hook on the street too. Of course you're now going to cut a 1.2sec 60 on the street, but i do 1.8s on cold tires.
anyway, aside from really not needing AWD, you're adding weight to the car which is one of the supras advantages. Then killing top end due to drivetrain weight. The...
BM3 is a flash. JB4 is a piggyback. BM3, MHD, Ecutek, MGFlasher are all flash based tuning platforms. The JB4 is a piggyback therefore doesn't alter the actual ECU flash data which can void your warranty EASILY. However, the JB4 can too if its found, or the dealer looks deep enough into...
With no tune bone stock, E25. although, no real benefits without a tune to take advantage of the octane. Unless the stock tune was just pulling a lot of timing on whatever base fuel you were running.
If you're running ethanol via the DI injectors or port injection, there really isn't a need for meth. At least for cooling. Most setups that use meth for "cooling" are simply quenching the IAT sensors and getting it to show lower IATS to the ECU.
there is no reason for that when we have...
