So since these tires, the Nitto 555RII's, don't come in a 295 option, I've either got to get the 285's or the 305's. I'm leaning more towards the 285's. My stock front tires are still in great shape so would you recommend me swapping the fronts to a bigger size, perhaps 265/35/19 or will they be...
Damnit! Where were you when I needed this months ago haha. This was the exact downpipe I wanted before I got my catless DP from the shop that tuned my car.
The Dragy is mounted on the middle section of the top of the dashboard, right under the windshield. I have location settings enabled, it just never tells me my DA.
I just saw the shop that performed my bench unlock and dynoed my car ran a 6.53 second 60-130 over the weekend at a drag strip in North Carolina. Their shop Supra is tuned by MHD on a Pure 800 Turbo and E40. Not bad because that tune is only on like revision 4 or 5 and they are keeping the...
Well I keep getting a low sats warning everywhere I go because I live in the F'ing sticks lol. Today actually my draggy said all my little runs were invalid because of Low Sats and it couldn't verify.
10.10 on E40?! My 93 Octane OTS map ran a 10.1 60-130 verified by dragy. My car ran a verified 8.79 60-130 on an E40 Off the Shelf map through MHD, and MHD doesn't have the most aggressive tunes. I'm currently undergoing a custom tune through MHD and we aren't finished dialing in the car yet so...
Why not Botti? If you're going EcuTek might as well reach out to Mike Botti and get the spiciest tune avaliable. His E50 tune slaps everyone elses, that said, I don't know how aggressive it runs compared to the rest.
Are you driving sport manual or sport auto? Is the car tuned or is it on the stock tune file? Are you keeping VSC Traction control on, 1-Click off, or Hold-Off completely? Lots of variables could be causing this. Do you have any ways to track the temps you're seeing for oil, coolant...
You will most certainly see some gains with a tune, but not like what you would see if you were stage 2 with a downpipe. I highly recommend grabbing whatever Catted Downpipe you can get before going through with this. MHD has a built in feature of their software that disables the ECU's ability...
Lol. Pulling the ECU to check the production date is tops a 2 minute job. The ECU doesn't even have to come out all the way. Just release the clips, slide it up a bit, and use a camera phone that has flash enabled to take a snapshot of the label. BAM! Done!
Yea I don't mind disclosing. My total out the door was right around $1,700 total. That was for the downpipe purchase, the unlock fee, the B58 Super License through MHD, which includes all of their OTS tunes ranging from pump gas to E30 and E40, labor for the shop to install the downpipe, and 3...
