  1. Do you guys drive your Supra in winter with summer tires?

I hear you. I thought we had it and then I was looking for it with no success, of course. So I thought I was going mad... :p
  2. Do you guys drive your Supra in winter with summer tires?

snow tire on snow will make world of difference. I even heard snow tire on rear wheel drive car is better than all wheel drive /w All season tire on snow. of course, if you are not on snow, you are just chewing it away.
  3. Do you guys drive your Supra in winter with summer tires?

The question is not what you drive. It's how you drive. if you are planning to lead foot on every green light, no tire will save you in any temperature. Having said that, PSS will be fine from negative temp to very hot as most street tires are designed to handle such condition. Will it...
  4. Trunk open light

This might be different than yours but in my experience while applying wrap, I accidentally left emergency trunk release dangling. this caused that glow-in-the-dark handle to be wedged between trunk lid and deck. even though trunk was closed and could not be opened, sensor did not pink up...

This one features Toyota Supra (#14) racing in Daytona. @anajri is driving.
  6. Parking assistance malfunction error

Try putting the steering wheel back to stock and see if that clears. if so, you have an issue with that CF steering wheel. if not, check connectors for mis-contact. with the information you've given, I can only guess that car is not reading your steering angle correctly.
  7. A91 & Recent 2021 Impossible to Tune / ECU manufactured after 2020/6 is locked? [WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Bench unlock is for almost all GR Supra whether '20 or '21. (I've heard a report that very early models didn't even needed bench unlocking but cannot confirm) However, ECU dated in June (still unclear but some time around 6/7/20) and after is hardware locked and cannot be unlocked at this point...
  8. Which sway bar company?

just for curiosity, how much are they charging you to change both?
  9. Which sway bar company?

I have cusco on front & rear and this is my thought. If you are going to use supra only for street and not pushing to the limit of its handling, stock sway bar is fine. if you can use it to push to the limit, you probably won't like how much it rolls when it turns as well as how slow it...
  10. Jacking / Lifting Points

If you have some budget, I recommend quickjack. I had concern on storing it but it fits under stock height supra.
  11. Just bought my 2020 used - I have one question

not sure why you'd change filter without oil unless you know it's broken. typically, filter life out lasts oil. And what protects engine is oil and filter does not improve quality of oil degrading. It only filters out any large particle that may harm engine. as for oil light, this car has...
  12. Snell 2000 helmet

Seldom it occurs. - Rock chip on windshield. closed face do provide more protection however, advantage of of open face is you can communicate /w instructor a bit better than closed face and a bit cooler in summer. I do recommend open face for beginners but would recommend closed face as they...

  17. April 25th, 2021- Cruise to the Pagoda -NJ MKV Supra Meetup/Club

I suppose this is not happening due to inclining weather..?
  18. IMSA Racing

I will be watching it as much as possible. they just finished qualiy racing. not quite sure what this format is for qualification. I will be rooting for GTD #44 for driver, Andy Lally.
  19. Question about track width effects on handling

I agree with @Xxyion on body roll. That is more of suspension setup than tire choice. see more info in my pewter supra build. wider tire will give you more grip but not necessarily give you faster acceleration on straight. typically wider tires are heavier hence harder to rotate the wheel...
