Stratosphere blue looks soo damn good on the the supra.
I'm curious what color wheels we'll end up getting on the non A91 edition cars in the US. The press release specifically says that matte gray color is for the A91 edition.
Here are more reviews. Everything sounds super positive about the manual transmission feeling so far.
Also surprisingly the Evo article mentions the manual is ÂŁ2000 cheaper than the automatic equivalent in the UK market. I'm curious to see what it will be in the US...
Yeah the official toyota release for the US has already stated we're getting the same motor for the manual version.
The reviews of the transmission and 2023 updates are all sounding really good so far. Can't wait.
"The shift action itself is satisfying too, if not perfect. "
Finally a real picture of stratosphere blue. I'm pretty sure the one in the original press release was a photoshop based on the paint reflections.
Hopefully they post more soon.
Edit: There's a video of it on the IG stories for @toyotabelux
He just misspoke. There were a few things he got wrong.
The version he is reviewing is also pre-production so it's not the finished version we'll be getting.
TLDW: No pricing until July. Toyota hopes to have it on sale late summer, but it may be later in the year until it arrives.
Sounds like October is still looking fairly realistic.
Based on that leaked roadmap a while back, most of that should happen in June while start of production happens in July. Hard to tell how accurate that is, but most of the leaks have been pretty accurate so far.
The early leaks had the BMW names for the colors instead of Stratosphere blue and CU Later Gray. I don't have any direct information but someone here or on reddit from Toyota confirmed that's how they saw the color names internally before Toyota renamed them.
I think the satin look is just...
I'm not a huge fan of the new Z looks wise, but the proto concept Nissan showed off with the different bumper looks way better than the one that's actually coming out.
I can't imagine they're going to raise the MSRP too much, especially with the Z coming out that they need to compete with now. Even the C8 corvette is only going up about $1k in MSRP for 2023 and that doesn't sell for anywhere near MSRP typically.
Is an actual mid-cycle refresh even going to happen at this point? If anything it seems like the 2023 MY is going to be it with new wheels/transmission/suspension retuning/colors/upgraded sound system and such.
Since toyota only gave us 1 picture of Stratosphere (portimao) blue, here are a few others I picked off the g80 forums that show how dynamic this color is. They couldn't have picked a better blue from BMW's pallet.
Everything is up right now still. You can see how things were starting to recover until the war in Ukraine started then jumped right back up to the all time high pretty much.
This website is pretty interesting since you can drill down into specific models and years to track prices on their...
