  1. Running Full E85 on a E30 BM3 Tune

Probably the fuel pump not set for correct rate at that map.
  2. Phantom grey paint protection

The material is not cheap and depending on the quality of job, you are looking at some serious hours. The only way I justified it was that I would get a color I couldn’t buy and I put crazy mileage in my vehicles on terrible roads. With a car that is already matte, I’d probably just ceramic...
  3. Climate control

    This actually kinda sorta works.
  4. Climate control

Stretch one rubber band across both knobs, problem solved.
  5. U.S.-Market Toyota Supra Four-Cylinder Officially Announced

Th The problem Toyota has with the 4-cyl is how to advertise it without robbing sales from the 6 cyl or the 86. If they advertise power at the wheels like the 2020 model, it will look underpowered for the price. If they advertise at the crank, it may look a bit too close to the 6 cylinder’s...
  6. 2021 Toyota GR Supra A91 Edition Revealed. Limited To 1,000 Units

But that is literally their business model. . .
  7. Not sure what problem my car has... (maybe trans issue?)

That sounds off. In sport, the transmission sometimes guesses wrong at low speeds with no aggressive driving. I would expect that as that is the exact opposite to how it is programmed to be driven in that mode. I don’t get hanging. It will rev and shift. Not rev, hang, and shift. Sounds...
  8. U.S.-Market Toyota Supra Four-Cylinder Officially Announced

I think he means the RC-F appears tuned closer to the engines top end performance. The Supra has a large amount of power left in it as a tune alone is netting between 40-60 hp depending on just how aggressive it is.
  9. LE Supra Registry Thread: Launch Edition What Number Are You?

Nah, they likely went to supraforums first and were never seen again.
  10. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

I’m afraid you will have to take that comment back. They did design the cover to the charging tray.
  11. U.S.-Market Toyota Supra Four-Cylinder Officially Announced

Pretty much why I didn’t even consider a Mustang, Hellcat, etc. Once it gets cheap, you get lumped in with the bad, fair or not. They are on a cops radar as they see “kids” tearing ass through neighborhoods all the time. A coworker has a GT 350 and he has several tickets even with a detector...
  12. Not sure what problem my car has... (maybe trans issue?)

The burbles are from sport mode and are intentional. The transmission shifting is more aggressive in sport and some shifts can be rough compared to normal on occasion. It all sounds normal to me, but I’m not the one feeling the shifts.
  13. Share your IAT and Ambient Temp. (If you log it)

Does the box make have a good seal? I saw a picture or two that looked kinda questionable where air may get in from the engine compartment.
  14. U.S.-Market Toyota Supra Four-Cylinder Officially Announced

We all knew this was happening. Toyota has to sell x amounts to recoup cost. With the car not taking off like they hoped, it was easier to sell a cheaper option to corporate than a more expensive release.
  15. Phantom grey paint protection

Talk with a shop that has handled PPF on BMW frozen colors. The issue with PPF is damage on removal. If they know what they are doing and take their time, it can be done. They just cannot buff it after removal, so cleaning residue from adhesive must be done chemically. If you wrap in matte...
  16. Call from Toyota HQ Regarding the GR Supra

Pretty much once they started asking profile questions, I shut it down. If they want to ask how much I make and how old I am, they can send me one of those nice launch edition books if they want the answers.
  17. Toyota "Preparing" Hotter Supra GRMN, Says Chief Engineer

I would have preferred different doors. Far too much of a trade off for most for a minor benefit for a very select few. If I’m dropping what most widebody kits cost, the cost of new door paneling isn’t going to break me.
  18. Side Impact Safety

Both poles had similar penetration. You have to look at the reports that analyzed the data from the dummy. TBH if your moving any real speed in this kind of impact, you are dead. There is not enough space between you and the pole to dissipate much force. I was in one of these wrecks when...
