There wont be much for hands on impression until release day.
Can you order yet? No. Its not out for orders at all. When dealer ordering opens then the info flow will be interesting.
Preceding that will be the normal press releases with specs and pricing that is reflected on the web page for...
Also 2024 - so this new 'Supra' would be well into testing now. SO post up the photo's of it on the Ring in testing. Even if built in Japan, its going to be 'tested' on the Ring. Sorry but in terms of simple logic - non story.
In case you havent noticed - dealers and the maker want orders before full road tests are published.
The new M240i has been evaluated in static fashion but not road test. Those tests are going on but the full release is 16 Nov and all that testing with factory cars in CA will be released at...
Not a chance in the era of partnerships for Supra and BRZ/GT86 or reused chassis and parts and call it new for the 'new Z'. Its a cost prohibitive item that Toyota will not carry. DOA.
If you are in winter conditions, cold roads and moisture and below 7C please do not use all season. Braking action is better with winter tires in cold conditions as is grip. This is proven over and over, plus sound driving habits. Ice is bad for anything so it wont matter the tire of course.
I have them on my 440i Xdrive. Superb tire for dry and wet weather/daily use. A Supra in non true winter conditions would probably do well on this tire. Should provide good wet traction and better grip in cooler conditions than the summer Michelin which are standard.
The only 3 colors you can get with body color roof are black, dark gray, and dark red metallic.
Silver, gray, blue, yellow, red and white all ONLY come with the black roof.
Force you to have black roof with so many colors....why?
Ordered 2022 M240i yesterday. Thundernight Metallic(purple), tan interior. Same wheels as in post 32 above. No arrival date due to chips etc. Possibly Jan.
Possibly the nicest all round build on this forum. Useful powerful, yet with economical traits for fuel use and affordable given other 'track' options. Well done. Very professional. Thank you for providing such concise and sound input to this forum!
Best of luck. In the longer term, Techs at dealers wont get better if they dont have Supra's to work on in general. Its a new car so I am a bit more patient than if the series had been in service for 3 or 4 years. I know such items are frustrating.
