GT3's are everywhere. Superb yes. My neighbor in Germany daily'd a GT3RS-4.0
Rain, shine etc. Didnt matter. I saw him at my favorite cafe on the platz and asked him - Why are you driving this as much as you are. It is superb and beautiful - he said - Its a car, YOU DRIVE IT!
Good point about size. I have no intention to own a large GT sportscar. The higher powered limited Mustangs, Astons, etc are just GT's. Will be interesting to see the interpretations of the ZO6 in testers hands and true racer/drivers such as Pobst.
Smaller more tuneable power vs grunt of big V8.
Numerous quality issues per article on the Mustang. Fun and fast and just plain cheaply made. Ford - pretty much sums up the standard for that company. Volume over quality. Typical US model production. By now the Mustang should be of better...
4 years with M235i and 2 years in my DCT M2 both in Germany = No. Not a chance. The power is applied and managed better, and in manual mode you arent missing anything at all. If your 'manhood' demands it by all means get one :) You wont be missed as you will be in the rearview LOL! :) :)...
For me this car is very color dependent. Silver or Grey is bad in my opinion. I do not like the car the more I see it. The styling is a mess with too much throwback/retro emphasis.
I will test it but will not buy. Keeping the Supra and have M240i on order. In this configuration but with tan...
I use the exact spec oil the owners manual calls purchased from a dealer and documented. As long as its under warranty then there is zero issue with any 'issue' the motor could have. Given how in-frequent oil changes are now overall its easy. If an issue arises there wont be any debate about...
Additive package for certain items as noted below are part of the differences. This is from the link a member referred you to. Use the latest BMW spec oil you can find no matter where you get it - BMW or Toyota. If you use a name brand type oil ensure it lists the current BMW spec. See the text...
Production line Vette vs More 'handbuilt' unique custom Lotus. Having owned 3 different Esprit Turbos - there is one way to order this: V6/Manual/Yellow or Green(verdant) and go. No options. Just the base car with manual. I wouldnt think of owning the 4 as good as that motor is. This car will...
The issue has a top to bottom projection
Sensor - good / bad
Time of measurement - min is 30min and motor warm/hot
Type of driving/style
Then is there mech issue/blowby etc.
I test it once a week after a good drive, on flat surface etc
We have seen a senor issue here with a thread about it
You...
This issue needs simply analysis - vs the loud crying of internet OMG world ends I needed .5 qt or liter after 1500miles.
How many are actually using oil per the BMW spec. I see posts here with drivers outside of that and saying the motor is bad. I see post with one using 0-20 and switching to...
For that silly money for GM design and plastic - you can get a decent 911 GT3 and or RS for actual tracking and a GT4 Cayman. Hold value better and are superb tracking machines.
99% of the new ZO6 will be 8 months to Cars n Geriatric Coffee and sold 8 months later for absurd prices with 800...
When I change oil or get a new car, I normally buy a liter or 2 for the addition of oil if needed. Find an oil that meets spec. You dont need a dealer to top if the fk off if you are not using oil out of spec.
